From Ruffled:  This this real elopement has captured our hearts, and not just because Sophie and Andy are one of the most beautifully in love couples we’ve ever seen. Every element of their day was carefully thought out and brought to fruition by Danielle DeFiore PhotographyBello and Blue Events, and Somerset Design, with a brilliant color palette of orange, purple, and soft turquoise. If you’re thinking of eloping, this is a wonderful place to start for inspiration!

From the photographer, Danielle DeFiorePart of the beauty of a small, intimate wedding is how the personalities of the couple really shine through in all the little details. Meaningful decor, wedding invitations with fine art touches and bright colors paired with handcrafted local food and desserts – these are some of the simple, beautiful touches couple Sophie and Andy combined to share a little bit of everything they love at their Colorado wedding.

The couple planned their elopement just north of Denver with the help of Bello and Blue Events, and it was one of the most colorful weddings I’ve photographed in a long time. Greens, deep purples and vibrant orange paired with light pinks and yellows looked radiant against the sand colored Colorado desert landscape, offering a last burst of color before cooler weather sets in. The rich color palette was originally taken from natural elements found in a desert that become even more beautiful at dusk. Bello and Blue helped integrate bold tones for the fall destination wedding, off-set by an abundance of candlelight and metal luminaries for an intimate and romantic feel.

Andy wore clean tweeds and blues which complemented their raspberry and coral colored flowers. Sophie chose a flowing, tan dress to blend into the desert location and serve as backdrop for the colorful flowers, stunning turquoise jewelry and of course, the big blue open sky! With the help of some talented vendors, Sofie incorporated her love for kombucha by finding a local Denver vendor who brews their own and provides growlers and sweet ice-cream treats. The couple exchanged vows alone under the very same trees Andy proposed to Sophie, with a simple dream catcher to signify the start of their journey as they build new dreams together. Soon after, they welcomed a few special guests to share in the one-of-a-kind celebration. It was such a treat to be an elopement photographer for Andy and Sophie!

We owe a big thank you to our lovely vendor partners for all of their help in creating such a lovely, intimate affair, and helping bring our vision to life!
