romantic ranch wedding | LARKSPUR, COLORADO

As wedding season slows down, and summer comes to a close, it's fun to finally start appreciating the most gorgeous photos and memories we have acquired from this summer's successful events...  Get excited, lots more lovely to come!

Today I'm very excited to share because this is one wedding that is very special to me.  I mean, honestly, they all are. In different ways. {& I'm really not just saying that.} Every one holds a place in my heart. I LOVE what I do!!  That said, there are a few couples for whom I feel exceptional gratitude.  Those who took a chance early on, hiring me right from the get-go, trusting me with every detail of their most special day based solely on a recco when my business was barely an infant.

To M & M, and ALL of my loyal clients, I'm humbled and grateful that you picked me, and I would not be here if it weren't for brave souls like you taking the chance- THANK YOU!!!

When I learned of the sweetest love story that belonged to Maddie & Matt, I did not have a website, I didn't have a full book of clients, I hadn't been published, and I didn't have a record of five star reviews (& I'm proud to say we now have all of the above!!). I just had passion for what I did, helping crazy-in-love couples to plan their dream wedding day celebration.  And with these two, we did just that!

Hailing from Texas, these two opted for a venue that felt a little like home and a lot like Colorado.  The ever beautiful Spruce Mountain Ranch, which was absolutely thriving in this wet Colorado spring, created the most lovely, colorful spring backdrop for this beautiful couple!

How adorable are these custom signs?  Hand lettered by the bride herself!

Although the spring rain may have moved our outdoor mountainside ceremony to plan B, this event felt flawless... as if that was plan A all along... I love that.

We're so proud of the flowers on this wedding!  Designed in-house, we were thrilled with the outcome of this Colorado country spring mix.  The garland designed to adorn the outdoor ceremony structure was transitioned seamlessly to the indoor fireplace mantle creating a lovely frame for 'I do'.

As the big day approached, the bride, groom, and I all enjoyed a fun night of wine & signs creating these wonderful DIY details!  So proud of our collaboration!!!

This welcoming dessert table was such a hit!  Guests enjoyed munching on M&M's (those were  MUST!) and these homemade favorites of the bride and groom!

One of our very favorite details!  This was an actual vintage window from M&M's home, so of course we prettied it up, and hand lettered names and table numbers for the most adorable seating map!

Just a taste of what was one of the best dance parties I've ever witnessed!  This group has serious moves.  The choreographed father/daughter and bridal party dances to kick off the night were such crowd pleasers!

This sweet highlight film from Bosha Video tells the story of this lovely day so eloquently!

As always, we couldn't have done it without this amazing team of vendor partners.  To each of you, THANK YOU for everything you did to make this wedding so very special!

M&M, what a beautiful celebration this was!  I loved everything about your day, and out of hundreds of weddings, your dance party was by far one of the very best I've ever seen!  Every time I see a penguin, I will think of you two and your tale.  And then I'll tell you about it over mimosas at brunch- so lucky to call y'all friends after all of this!  Miss you, and wishing you the best of married life, always!!

xo!
